David Copperfield... Ah yes... The magician dude... Well... I saw him last night at the Center... Mmmm... First... When we (family and I) walked into the thing... Video was playing... Clips of shows talking about Mr Copperfield... Okie... Some of it was funny... Then... An intro video was shown after... Okie... Got through that... Ah yes... Finally the guy shows up... Talked abit... Felt like it was a stand up show... Yahdayahdayahda... Ok... He starts to do magic... Here's a list of magic tricks that (I remember) he did last night:
Transporting duck
from metal box that was on a table to a wooden bucket that was held by an audience
he did this twice... second time in slow motion with a stuffed duck... it was funny... in a way...
Automobile appearance along with "I can predict answers"
his grandfather wanted this old car... played the lottery that could get him that car... but never won... the grandfather passed away... he left DC with two license plates with six set of numbers inside a locked metal box...
DC used fisbes to randomly selected three audiences... Asked them two sets of numbers each... Asked them one personal questionn each... Funny personal questions...
Later... He opened the metal box... The license plate numbers matches with the audience numbers... A piece of paper with personal answers matches w/ audience personal answers...
In the end... He sets up a stage on top of a stage, covers it up... Then bam... a car appears... He climbs in it and starts it... (how did he know that i was thinking... that must be a fake car)
Disappearing audiences
a few audiences sits on chairs inside a metal framework on stage... framework was lifted... "magic" happens... people = not on chairs anymore...
"I can get a scorpion to pick out the same card that you picked"
you pick a card... i transfer my "powers" to a scorpion and it picked out your card
Teleporting Woman
now you are on stage... bam! now you are in austrilia...
a touching story involved in this one...
"I can go through a piece of metal"
opening act...
bang bang bang with hammer... metal is real...
DC goes under the metal... (with metal framework again)
covered metal with something...
poof... DC is now on top of the metal
"I can get a woman pregnant without having sexual contact with her"
funny stuff happens here too...
an "ultrasound" appears on screen...
DC got another audience to go up on stage... told her to give the baby a name... she named him "Dick"
ultrasound baby holds up a sign with the name Dick
"Ooooooh! I can shrink myself in a box"
weird... but... ok~
he crawls in a box (horizontal)... makes himself shorter... makes himself normal size again...
Even though the list seems alright... But I was not amused... Half of the time I was trying to figure out how on earth did he do it... Since... Magic DOES NOT exist... only illusions do... and since he is human... mistakes must occur... so... the other half of the time... I was awaiting for a horrorible horrible mistake that would be interesting... But no... nothing went wrong... Guess he just practiced too much... And some of his props seem pretty expensive... So some part of his money goes to props... Where did the rest go? :o Guess thats a mystery that most people wont know... *shrugs*
Ah... yes... It's another youtube video... But then this time it fits with the holiday season... (Yeah yeah... this clip is old, but hey... It sure is catchy..)

This time... when I got to Joyce station going down the stairs, there're these two people walking down ever so slowly... side by side too... so I couldnt walk pass them... Finally someone behind me said "couldnt you walk any faster?" but we all got to the bottom already... So I haste over to the 28th bus stop, a few seconds before I reach the stop the bus drove away right infront of me... I was like... those two a-holes made me miss the bus... I do not wish to risk being late plus that I saw a lot of people standing by the 27th bus stop, I waited and got on the 27th. (Just in case you dont know, the 27 could get you up to cap too but with one extra bus transfer) It was okie dokie while on the 27th, looking at new surroundings due to different bus route, until this old dude came on the bus and sat behind me... He cant stop coughing and stuff, and this old people smell got stronger... Had no choice but to intake the smell... A few stops later, the 27th reaches terminal station... So I got off and waits in line for 28th... (Yea yea... this may sound weird and all, but it's not...) Guess what? The 28th is the bus that I missed... So I was like... BOOYAH! Not late for class... 28th bus came, we're all getting on the bus... I saw this old lady saying something to the people getting on... Couldnt make out what she was saying since my nano was on... Thought she was asking for change or yelling at people or something like that... When it was my turn to get on the bus, she said "and I love you." My first thought, "WHAT THE FUCK???!?", but I just smiled back and got on the bus... After like 10 mins or so, we arrived at Phibbs... Passengers rearranged and this smelly girl sat next to me... What the hell is with me and smelly people today? Yes, my point exactly... Later I got to Cap, and the bus story ends...
Speaking of buses, the new 28th bus may look nicer... but it's not as comfy...
Hopefully Dec 14 comes sooner... (All exams and such are done and over with...)
